Indigenous to the Far East and named for a 16th century Italian princess, Neroli oil, also known as ‘Orange Blossoms,’ has been a prized ingredient of classic Eau-de-Cologne for 400 years. Extracted from the flowers of Bitter Orange trees, the refreshing and intense aroma of Neroli oil is known to bring out one’s fullest potential. This oil improves memory, enhances mental power, filters out negative feelings, and aides in self-purification. Because of Neroli oil’s energizing and stimulating scent, it is used to chase away depression, make way for positive thoughts, as well as boost the wearer’s confidence and energy levels.

In addition to the perceived cognitive enhancements, Neroli essential oil has cytophylactic effects, which are excellent for skin and cell health. These can maintain supple and elastic skin, reduce wrinkles, and treat varicose veins. As a cicatrisant, Neroli oil helps to fade scars, stretch marks and damage from breakouts. This oil can also enhance the skin by controlling excess oil, retaining natural moisture, curtailing enlarged pores and leaving it with a natural glow.

*Comedogenic is the tendency for an ingredient to clog pores.
