Amaranthus Caudatus
Amaranth Seed Oil
Found in Revitalizing Eye Serum
Meaning “the never-fading” in Greek, Amaranth seeds were cultivated by the Aztecs about 6,000-8,000 years ago.
Amaranth seed oil contains the highest concentration of plant-derived Squalane, one of the most common lipids produced by our own skin. In addition to being a natural moisturizer, this lipid helps the oil to both repair and protect skin.
Amaranth oil oxygenates skin cells which stimulates collagen production, this slows down the effects of aging and the formation of wrinkles and leaves the skin soft and quenched.
